Beth McLaughlin – President
M E (Beth) McLaughlin founded Adept Word Management in 1990 for the medical transcription field. There have been various changes to medical transcription during the past decade, and as a result she has constantly sought new and innovative ways to transcribe for a variety of interesting clients and projects. This has resulted in Adept transcribing for the Human Genome Project, NASA astronaut debriefings, The New York Times, the United Nations, the Nobel Prize company, among many others! She holds a double major in Anthropology and Sociology and did graduate coursework in Healthcare Administration.
Christy Wolcott Miron – Chief Operating Officer
Christy comes to us with a wealth of experience in both transcription and copy editing. She holds a BS in Human Development from University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Her expertise and knowledge in company operations ensure that the company works seamlessly–it also ensures quick, accurate results for our clients.
Stacy Taylor – Director of Business Development
Stacy is our tech goddess and is currently focused on building out our foreign language translation services. She started working in transcription as a freelancer right after college. She joined Adept in 2009 and fell in love with the team at Adept and the work. She holds a BA in English Literature from Simpson University.
